Gatti's Pizza Educational Field Trip Classes Are in Full Swing!

If you haven't tried one yet, here's what you're missing: Gatti's Pizza Educational Field Trip Classes are a fun-filled lunch and learning experience aligned with Core Content. The field trips are a teacher-designed program intended to supplement classroom instruction in math, language arts, practical living, and careers.

Gatti's Math Classes

Use pizza to learn fractions: The Fractions Class is a fun way for students to learn fractions "the pizza way." Class final will be students making a pizza. (Grades K - 8)

Design Bumper Car rides to learn area and perimeter: The Area & Perimeter Class uses a simple hands-on approach. After the students actually experience the bumper car ride, they will easily understand the concept of area and perimeter by designing their own ride. (Grades 5 - 8)

Explore graphing through video games: During the Graphing Class students learn graphing by driving jet skis, race cars, and motorcycles and then by plotting the crash information on a graph. (Grades 6 - 8)

Gatti's Language Arts Classes

Learn language skills while jet skiing: Get a jump start on becoming a descriptive writer when participating in the Language Skills Class. Students will use the experience of video games to extend elaboration skills. (Grades 3 - 8)

The Carousel Riding & Writing Class helps to make children aware of their five senses with activity culminating in a carousel ride. (Grades PreK - 2)

The Mystery Context Clues Class: Students will use context clues to read their way through a mystery scavenger hunt in the Mystery Context Clues Class. (Grades 3 - 8)

Gatti's Nutrition Class

Students will analyze healthy and unhealthy choices. The Healthy Choices Nutrition Class will guide students in choosing foods that will help fuel their bodies in a nutritional manner. Students will learn to make better choices for snacks, portion sizes, and daily nutrition.

Gatti's Practical Living CLass

Students will discover job positions in the real world. In the Career Exploration Class students will explore the Gatti's work force from the Bus Boy to the General Manager. (Grades 3 - 8)
